If I were deciding what a kid should spend most of their early study time on, the list is short: math, physics, computer science, and biology. Not because those names look good on a schedule, but because they train you to move ideas around instead of stacking facts. Memorizing lost its edge a long time ago. Tools already win that contest. What still pays is being able to build a model of how something works, poke it, and see what breaks.

I would start that work early, kindergarten early, while attention is still plentiful and curiosity has not been trained into homework theater. The teachers matter as much as the subjects. I want people who are odd in the right way: experts who treat a child's mind as something to open, not a vessel to fill for a test. Out of the box is the job description. Drill and dread are not.

Biology belongs next to the other three, not as a separate pile of vocab. Living systems are math and physics wearing skin, and computation shows up the moment you try to describe a cell, a signal, or a population. Link them on purpose. Show how a rate in an equation is also a rate in a body, how a simulation is a way of asking a question you cannot afford to run on a real organism first. That is how you get range across medicine, engineering, products, and almost any sector that still needs people who can reason.

A lot of school does the opposite. It bloates the week with material that does not stretch thinking, then wraps the whole thing in stress and competition until the kid's attention is spent before the interesting work starts. I would rather trade that noise for fun learning and a real appetite for knowing how things work. Passion is not a soft add-on. It is the fuel that keeps someone in the hard subjects long enough for the mind to actually grow.
